What has happened to the buffalo that roamed the plains of our country???? How do we STOP the extinction of these Majestic Animals???? I have never seen one other than in books or in movies or on television. How many others can say this???? Most likely, many of us. There are organizations that have helped to keep these beautiful animals from leaving this earth permanently. They have been growing in numbers but is this truly enough???? Bad people still will kill these animal for their horns, hides and meat. These people are called POACHERS. These horrible people can sell their wares and profit from the slaughter of these and other animals that are endangered. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

As with all animals, there are different varieties of wolves that roam free. Again, I have only seen one in a zoo, confined and kept away from nature's natural home. I have never seen them out in the open....traveling in a pack and caring for their own families. ALL animals, be they mammal, fish or bird, have the right to stay in their own habitat, growing as nature intended them to. Not to be pent up in a caged area or in some pool of water somewhere. Granted, there are many organizations that come to the rescue of these and other animals. I commend the work they do and can only wish I could be a part of them | |||||||||||||||||||||||
